Guest of Honor-
This short film got us right from the start. It’s wonderfully directed by Lisa Belcher as well as written by her and Lukas Hassel, who are also the lead actors playing husband and wife. They both do an amazing job of conveying their emotions to the audience. The opening scene sets a somber mood and prepares you for the emotional roller coaster the film takes you on in such a short amount of time. Lisa brilliantly tells this story keeping the audience engaged and guessing how the events will finally unfold.
We will definitely be looking for this short film at our next film festival coverage.
