Since having kids, my husband and I don’t get much time away. So, about every five years or so we plan a trip and leave our wee ones at home with an auntie or grandma. Since we only do this once every so often (usually on an anniversary) we really want to make our trips count.
For our 15 year anniversary we decided Bora Bora was the place. It was on both of our bucket lists. Bora Bora is not the easiest place to get to nor is it affordable. This trip took some time, budgeting, and careful planning to make it work. Below, I will tell you how we were able to have our dream vacation and still stay on a budget.
