So one of my favorite things to do after picking strawberries “Because you know you’re gonna have too many to eat“ is to make jam. Making strawberry jam takes me back to when I was maybe eight years old staying with my grandma during the summer and watching her make strawberry freezer jam and the next morning getting up and making toast out of her homemade white bread and of course her yummy jam. Here’s The freezer jam recipe that my grandma used to make:
Freezer jam
Ingredients
2 c
fresh strawberries, blended
4 c
sugar
1 pkg
(1.75 ounce) premium fruit pectin
3/4 c
water
OTHER ITEMS NEEDED
1 large
plastic bowl
1 Blender
6 pt
jelly jars with lids
1 medium
saucepan
·
paper towels
·
stickers for labeling jars
When done put it in the freezer and pull it out after 24 hours leave the rest through the winter and when you’re out just bring one out to refill. (It’s now my kids favorite thing to make with me)
Just about the bottom line on me: I love my faith, family, film, fashion and travel. And oh YES, a little obsessed with shoes!

I’m amazed at how fast your blog loaded on my phone .. I’m not
